Game Of Thrones Season 3 Finale

My Thoughts On The Game Of Thrones Season 3 Ending.

Yesterday I watched the season finale for Game of Thrones Season 3 and I just have to say, wow. This show is starting to become one of my favorites of all time and I haven't even caught up to the newest season yet. The previous two seasons had somewhat shocking endings or for season 2, a badass battle for Kings Landing. Though the ending for season 3 literally shocked me and left me speechless at the end of the second to last episode. I mean i understand that there is a lot of backstabbing in GoT but they took it to a whole next level and it's going to cause a lot of stir for everyone in the North.

Now, for those of you who haven't seen season 3 yet, even though I know most likely everyone else is ahead, I'm going to talk about spoilers for the season 3 finale. So basically in the 9th episode Rob Stark agrees to have one of his family members marry the Lord of the Twins daughter so they can get an advantage over the Tyrells. So they are at the wedding breaking bread, Rob Stark (The King Of The North), Lady Catelyn Stark (Rob's Mother), and Rob Starks wife (who is pregnant) are there and at one point they send the just married couple to their bed which is tradition in the all the kingdoms. Then, the Lord tells Rob he hasn't been a proper guest and several of his men shoot Rob Stark with crossbows along with his men and mother, all the while someone comes up from behind his wife and stabs her several times in the stomach. This is the scene that made me completely shocked for the rest of the episode.

I finished the rest of the season and it pretty much sums up that The North won't continue on their war and all the remaining Starks don't know what happened except for Sansa. I'm going to continue on to season 4 today but I just wanted to give my thoughts on the season 3 finale because the writers and directors brought their A game for the end. Arya also knows what happened and it seems like she'll seek out the assassin that gave her a coin to help her start her quest for vengeance. I'm really loving the show so far and I can't wait to catch up to season 7 which is going on right now because there are so many interesting storylines in GoT. As always thank you for taking time out of your day to read this blog and please comment and share if you liked this topic I discussed.
