Justice League First Reactions

Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter.

So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion.

Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing. Have us by the end of the film want to see more of each of the characters and want to see them together again. If this film continues to get positive reviews, then that will make Wonder Woman not a one hit wonder and have audiences be interested in the DC universe again. It will give hope to this universe and have it on the right track to better and better films, then, with our love with each character, we can tell more different kinds of stories but that are earned.

Now for the two negatives, it honestly reminds me of the small negatives I had with the first Avengers film. Now I do want to point out that I am not a fanboy slave to any one of the studios that makes superhero films, but if I have problems with a film or I love a film a lot, I'm not afraid to say it. So with that out the way, the fact that the problems with Justice League are the same problems I have with Avengers is fine to me. The overall story of Loki leading an alien army that if you take out the main leader, you take out the whole army was a little thin. Also the fact that it takes quite a while for the team to get together did bother me a little bit but The Avengers is still in my top 5 superhero movies of all time.

So with that being said, if it's true that Justice League has a thin story, then I will be okay with it if it's also true that the characters are amazing. As long as I have a good time and feel like the characters worked on many levels, then I'm willing to forgive many of knitpicks with the movie. If the villain Steppenwolf isn't all that great but does his job in highlighting the heroes story, then I'm also okay with it because that's what Kevin Feige said about the Marvel Villains. He said that the Marvel movies focus on their heroes and if in turn it makes the villian lack a little bit, then that's okay and it sure as hell okay with me. Overall, if these are the only minor problems with Justice League and I love the other aspects of the film, you can be damn sure Justice League will join The Avengers in my top 5 superhero movie list. As always thank you for taking time out of your day to read this topic I discussed.
