Pacific Rim 2 Trailer Thoughts.

 Today the trailer for Pacific Rim 2 was released during their panel at New York Comic Con. I've seen the first one and Imma be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan. I really liked the Jaeger fights and I always support Charlie Hunnam because he's my favorite character from Sons of Anarchy. The through line story though was kind of boring in my opinion, too much nonsense, and yes, I understand this is a movie about giant fighting robots. Now for this trailer, it looks pretty damn awesome, with the song and all the colorful action that is shown, along with John Boyega giving a speech just like Idris Elba's in the first movie.

I'm still going to be cautious because it is just a trailer and they perhaps grabbed all the best stuff from the movie. Though I'm not by any means looking for the next Oscar contender, I just wanna watch an entertaining, fun film. It's just if there's not a good story through and through, then it won't be a movie that I would come back to every now and then. Guillermo Del Toro won't be coming back to direct this sequel, instead it will be directed by Steven S. DeKnight. He's better known for his work on Spartacus the tv show, and the first season of Netflix's Daredevil.

I've never watched Spartacus but I've heard it's really good, on the other hand, Daredevil Season 1 is some of the best tv I've seen in years. He really captured who Daredevil was, so I do have hope that he'll try his best on Pacific Rim 2. Also, there seems to be a big difference in tone, and just the look of it, it's more colorful and seems a lot more exciting. All in all this movie does have a lot of potential to be a summer blockbuster and the trailer looks awesome, but the first one wasn't so great in my opinion. Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing. My Thoughts On The Defenders

My Thoughts On The Defenders Season 1. So today I finished up watching The Defenders and sad to say, I thought it was just decent. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than the second half of "Luke Cage" and definitely better than "Iron Fist", but even with only eight episodes, it dragged on sometimes. They have four characters with so much backstory and potential but I feel like they touched on the same subjects so many times without adding something new. The first episode was good because it gives the viewer an understanding of each character, their motives, and how they view the world. Then, for some reason, we get a lot of dialogue about the same motives and throughout the first couple of episodes, they interweave all the side characters. Another thing that kind of bothered me was the action, not that it wasn't good but that it was most of the time dark.
