Official Runtime For Justice League

Official Runtime For Justice League Confirmed.

Today several movie theatres released the runtime for one of the most anticipated films of the year. Justice League clocks in at 121 minutes, which is just one minute over two hours. It will be the shortest film in the DC universe, with Suicide Squad just past it. Tickets for the movie also go on sale this Friday so if you're into reserving your seat, that will be your first chance to do so. Now, shall we discuss whether this news is good or bad, to be honest, it's okay. Would I have liked to see a longer movie to spend more time with each character? Yes of course but the general movie audience doesn't think the same way I do.

Of course you can argue that if it keeps the audience entertained for that amount of time or another, the runtime wouldn't matter. The point of the runtime being revealed is that we are in the last stretch for the premiere. Whedon as now finished looking over the movie and him and Warner Bros. are happy with the runtime. Who knows, perhaps two hours is the sweet spot for both the audience, and the movie that DC is trying to tell. It will also affect how many times the movie can play in a theatre each day. If the movie were any longer, than it will have lower screenings at movies which can always effect the box office.

There are minor things that are affected with the movies runtime so having Justice League clock in just over two hours is a smart move. We do have a lot of story to tell with introducing each character, but perhaps it will be such a joy to watch that people will want to see it again immediately. Rumors are that The Flash is the standout character but I'm just excited that we finally get to see the team on the big screen, it's all I've ever wanted. Justice League does open two weeks after Thor Ragnarok so perhaps general movie audiences will love Thor Ragnarok so much that they will want to go see another superhero movie, which will be Justice League. As always thank you for taking time out of your day to read this topic I discussed.
