Will Leonardo DiCaprio Be The Joker?

Leonardo DiCaprio As The Joker In Origin Movie.

 So during the weekend The Hollywood Reporter tan a rumor about how Warner Bros. is looking to get Leonardo DiCaprio to play the Joker. What was rumored was that Warner Bros. wanted to use Martin Scorsese to help bring in DiCaprio to star in the Joker Origin Movie. Scorsese has partnered with DiCaprio in so many past films like Wolf Of Wall Street, The Aviator, and Shutter Island, so they work great as a film duo. Though the problem is that Scorsese isn't directing this origin movie, Todd Phillips (directed The Hangover) is directing it so with that, we probably won't see DiCapio as the Joker. If Scorsese was directing this upcoming film, then that will be a different story because that would of course help bring in DiCaprio since at this point he can pick whatever project he wants.

DiCaprio has been offered so many opportunities to be in a comic-book films but he's such a high-caliber actor he needs the perfect role. Would I like to see DiCaprio as the Joker? Yes and no because I would love to see one of the best actors ever dive into the comic book world but not as The Joker with an origin story. The Joker doesn't need an origin story because it doesn't matter, he does what he does because he can, or he gets a kick out of it, you don't need to explain his motives. So for such an amazing actor as DiCaprio, play the role of The Joker, I feel like that is wasted potential because you should take advantage that you have Leonardo DiCaprio.

Give him something with a lot more depth that he could seek his teeth into, whether it's a superhero or a villain. Also, this Joker Origin Film is supposed to be a one-off, are they really gonna do that when they have DiCaprio? As much as I would love to see one-offs of great DC comics, it has to earned, and right now, I'm still skeptical on the DCEU films. All in all, DiCaprio most likely won't take this role since Scorsese isn't directing the film, he probably has better offers on the table for him to take. Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. Confirmed Early Critic Screenings For Justice League. So today there have been many critics posting pictures of the Justice League screening they have gotten, but they said they can't say a word about it. The embargo is still in place for the day before the premiere of the movie. So where exactly do we stand with this movie? Well it is hard to say, the movie is still two weeks out so are they evaluating what the critics think of the movie?
