IT Has Biggest Horror Box Office

IT Has The Biggest Box Office Opening In The Horror Genre.

So the box office for this past weekend has come in and without doubt, IT destroyed all of its competition while breaking records. IT made $123 million domestically making it the highest grossing horror film domestically. There are many factors that come into play that made IT such a high grossing film, one of them is what has been out in theatres recently. There hasn't been any big movies put in the past couple of weeks so many movie fans were waiting for something intriguing to come out. What caught most people's attention, was the phenomenal marketing done for the IT movie.

No matter if you are a fan of horror movies or not, when you see the IT trailers or spots come on tv, you're automatically interested in some way. Whether that be you are scared out of your mind or really into what you are seeing, the trailers stay with you for a while. I myself am not a big horror fan, but when you pitch me a very interesting story, I'm in no matter what. From the trailers alone you are intrigued because it seems like the adults of Derry (The town in the movie) seem to not care or notice a killer clown going around taking out children. Also the center focus in my opinion from all the promotion for IT is the children's dynamic, and their reasoning for going after the clown.

Audiences and critics both give great reviews and buzz for the new IT movie so I have no doubt that it's at least a good movie. I actually was so interested from the trailers that I'm currently reading the book, though I'm no where near the end of it. From my understanding Warner Bros. plans to make this movie into two movies, one taking place with the children taking on it, then when they are adults returning to their hometown to finish the clown once and for all. I'm truly excited to see IT this weekend and the movie will most likely be at the top of the box office this weekend as well. Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing. New Justice League Trailer

New Justice League Trailer And Possibly Final. Yesterday Warner Bros. gave us probably the last full look at Justice League before the movie comes out. I'm sure we'll get a bunch of television promotions but it'll most likely start during Thor Ragnarok's opening weekend. The trailer was just simply amazing, but, I do have one big gripe with it, and it's the song. To me it didn't fit the trailer at all, I actually prefer to the previous trailer because it gave us a taste of the score for the actual movie and it sounded awesome. I do like everything is see though, it looks like they are starting to finish up the special effects and we get more of a feel for each Justice League member. We also see a much lighter tone with some comedy, but the comedy seems genuine for each character, they don't all make similar jokes. The overall palette also seems brighter with brighter reds and blues which is probably due to Whedon bringing his own style to the film. I a
