Getting Owned On Online In Injustice 2.
So today I got back to playing Injustice 2 because I was very busy throughout the whole week. Well, safe to say it's still the same old same old when it comes to playing online ranked sets. Now, I'd like to think I have a grasp on the characters I play as and I know at least two combos for each character. Yet, whenever I go online, I pretty much get my nuts kicked in and it is pretty frustrating. My opponents are like top tier players whenever I face them and it takes the fun out of every game.
Recently NetherRealm reset all of the Injustice 2 online rankings, so that means everyone was on the same level. Though a bit of time has passed and each player should be matched with someone of equal skill. Perhaps I'm just really bad at the game, or maybe I need to put in more time with one character, either way, I just wanted to share my frustration on this topic. I watch videos on each character I play as trying to understand their quickest move and their best counter but I lose everytime. Like right now I'm maining Black Manta and Red Hood so I look up how to setup their combos or special moves which surprises me how much other people know about the games mechanics.
One big thing I have yet to learn is how to read frame data so I wouldn't have to watch videos on what moves string together. From my understanding every fighting game runs at 60 frames per second so there is frame data that lets you know the frames per second every move is. There for, the moves that are very low frames or even minus frames, are the best ones to use, now, this is a rabbit hole that goes down very deep. I will probably get the hang of it eventually, but I just wanted to share with you guys my little knowledge on the subject if perhaps you didn't know about it.
