Obi-Wan Kenobi Standalone Coming

Obi-Wan Kenobi Movie In The Works And Possible Director.

 Yesterday The Hollywood Reporter talked to Lucasfilm and was told that Lucasfilm is going to make a standalone Obi-Wan Kenobi film. They did emphasize though that Lucasfilm is in the very early stages of development, and they're barely working on the script. Though, they are in talks with director Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot and The Hours director). If Daldry does become the director, he will also have oversite on the screenwriting and overall development of the film. Stephen Daldry was nominated for 3 Oscars so Lucasfilm is really going for a solid filmmaker, and perhaps a different tone for the upcoming Kenobi film.

So the biggest question everyone has is whether or not Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as Kenobi. McGregor took over the Kenobi role in the prequels, following up Sir Alec Guiness from the original trilogy. Not matter if you're a prequel fan or hater, majority of people agree Ewan McGregor owned the Kenobi role. One thing only die-hard Star Wars fans know is that McGregor did the voice work for Obi-Wan Kenobi role in "The Force Awakens" so he's stayed in discussion. I would personally love seeing Ewan McGregor reprise his role as Kenobi and fake a "Logan" approach to the character.

Lucasfilm has said in the past that they are interested in doing an Obi-Wan Kenobi Trilogy and the movie is still far out so they can take their time. Lucasfilm is currently finishing up "Han Solo" and then focus on "Star Wars Episode IX", so we won't see the Kenobi film for a while. I think that they should really take their time on this movie since this is a beloved character that could actually introduce us to new things in the Star Wars world. Lucasfilm also briefly talked about how they are thinking of doing a standalone Yoda film and Bobba Fett movie, but those two are just ideas. All in all I think this Kenobi Movie is a great idea that has a lot of potential not just for the character but also for the Star Wars universe. Injustice 2 Patch: Supergirl Top 5?

Is Supergirl Now A Top 5 Injustice 2 Character? So another character that got some fixes was Supergirl,  mostly making her a little bit powerful. Though, another thing I noticed is with her combos, if they don't land and are block or they missed, she's less likely to get punished for it. From my understanding on reading the patch notes, if takes her less frame to recover from an attack. I've played Supergirl the last two days and I actually enjoy the character a lot more. She has become not more versatile, but more forgiving of mistakes. Though with the less framerates after every combo, you can follow up block hits with one of her specials. Het specials are what her more of a top 5 character to play. She has her teleport with flying from one side of the stage to the other if you're trying to close the distance. Also, she has her laser beams if you wanna zone a bit or let's say you run into situations with someone like Sub-Zero. If gone against a bit of Sub-Zeros

Justice League First Reactions

Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing.
