Joker Origin Movie Apart From DCEU?

New Joker Origin Movie Set To Be Apart From The DCEU.

 So some rather interesting news broke today from Deadline which talks about a solo Joker Origin Movie. Now of course DC says that it's only in the very early stages of production, probably without any script just yet but at least an idea. Though we have gotten news that heavy hitters are taking part of this solo film which is Martin Scorsese (directed Wolf Of Wall Street, The Departed, etc.) who will produce the film, Top Phillips (directed Hangover and War Dogs), and screenwriter Scott Silver (screenwriter for The Fighter). Surely with these masters of their profession, we will get a very interesting take on 'The Clown Prince Of Crime' though what exactly are we fans in for? From my understanding and the various reports I have read, the Joker Origin film, will not be apart of the DCEU as we stand today.

The film will actually be the first of yet to be announced, new banner for Warner Bros. which will tell elseworld stories. To simplify what I mean, is that films like this Joker movie, will tell stories about beloved characters with different actors in the key role. Jared Leto is still set to be The Joker for all films that are in the DCEU but this film is not part of that. I guess the best example I can give for this new Joker movie is another recent superhero film called Logan. Though Hugh Jackman is Wolverine in Logan, the film is almost an elseworld movie, now it was still about the character we have all come to love but decided not to be held back by other or restrained from previous films from that universe.

To be quite honest with you I'm not sure how i feel about this piece of news because there are too many questions still. Sure you can add big names to the film but until I see a trailer that will give me the facts about everyone making the film, I am not excited ever so slightly. The Joker didn't really ever need an origin story because it's about his motives and drive for something, don't get me wrong, I will be the first to line up to watch the movie but this is rather disappointing. What I mean by that is the DCEU is barely getting the trust from fans back and now they go and throw not even a curveball, but a knuckleball at all fans. Most general movie viewers will most likely be confused if this film is ever made and you're walking on thin ice with the hardcore Joker fans. I honestly don't know how I feel about this news and what is to come from it. Injustice 2 Patch: Supergirl Top 5?

Is Supergirl Now A Top 5 Injustice 2 Character? So another character that got some fixes was Supergirl,  mostly making her a little bit powerful. Though, another thing I noticed is with her combos, if they don't land and are block or they missed, she's less likely to get punished for it. From my understanding on reading the patch notes, if takes her less frame to recover from an attack. I've played Supergirl the last two days and I actually enjoy the character a lot more. She has become not more versatile, but more forgiving of mistakes. Though with the less framerates after every combo, you can follow up block hits with one of her specials. Het specials are what her more of a top 5 character to play. She has her teleport with flying from one side of the stage to the other if you're trying to close the distance. Also, she has her laser beams if you wanna zone a bit or let's say you run into situations with someone like Sub-Zero. If gone against a bit of Sub-Zeros

Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing.
