Captain Marvel Gets A New Screenwriter

Captain Marvel Brings In Geneva Robertson-Dworet For The Screenplay.


Recently Marvel Studios released some plot details for their upcoming Captain Marvel movie. Yesterday though, Deadline said that Marvel brought in Geneva Robertson-Dworet as the screenplay writer. She wasn't the first choice though, Marvel Studios wanted Nicole Perlman (Guardians Of the Galaxy writer) and Meg LeFauve (Inside Out writer) to handle the screenplay. Both, however, are busy with other projects and Marvel plans to release Captain Marvel in 2019 so they want someone tocone in and have enough time to write and excellent screenplay. Roberston-Dworet isn't shy to big blockbusters though, her most recent writing credits are for the "Tomb Raider" reboot and "Gotham City Sirens", so she does not lack the experience of tackling a big studio movie.

Other potential projects for her include "Sherlock Holmes 3" and "M.A.S.K: Mobile Armed Strike Kommand" so she is a well known writer in the business. One thing we don't entirely know about is how far the previous two screenwriters got on Captain Marvel. Robertson-Dworet might just continue off of that screenplay, or since the film is still two years away, she can start from fresh. Marvel also recently announced that Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck will direct Captain Marvel, there last film was "Mississippi Grind". Marvel plans to try to start filming in February 2018 and so far, it seems they have all the pieces of the puzzle to get started soon.

From my memory, there only been one time that Marvel changed directors but they have changed screenwriters every now and then. At the end of the day Marvel looks for great people to take on one of their films, so long as they stick to the overall plan Marvel has. Captain Marvel will take place in the 90's with the Skrulls as the antagonists of the film. This may be very important for the future of the Marvel movies since in the comics, the Skrulls had shape-shifted themselves as key heroes in order to infiltrate Earth. I believe that Captain Marvel with be very significant and will introduce as to newer character since some old characters we've come to love might be leaving us in "Avengers Infinity War". Injustice 2 Patch: Supergirl Top 5?

Is Supergirl Now A Top 5 Injustice 2 Character? So another character that got some fixes was Supergirl,  mostly making her a little bit powerful. Though, another thing I noticed is with her combos, if they don't land and are block or they missed, she's less likely to get punished for it. From my understanding on reading the patch notes, if takes her less frame to recover from an attack. I've played Supergirl the last two days and I actually enjoy the character a lot more. She has become not more versatile, but more forgiving of mistakes. Though with the less framerates after every combo, you can follow up block hits with one of her specials. Het specials are what her more of a top 5 character to play. She has her teleport with flying from one side of the stage to the other if you're trying to close the distance. Also, she has her laser beams if you wanna zone a bit or let's say you run into situations with someone like Sub-Zero. If gone against a bit of Sub-Zeros

Justice League First Reactions

Justice League First Reactions Hit Twitter. So yesterday evening, few critics were allowed to share their quick reactions to Justice League on Twitter. I won't go thoroughly through each one, but the overall feel we get from the tweets. So overall, all tweets are luke warm to positive, the two common negatives that are addressed by most reactions is a thin story and weak villian. Then of course some of the positives are each member of the team, their dynamic together, and the lighter tone. Then, each critic says either this is a big or small step in the right direction which is positive in my opinion. Whether or not the step is huge or small, the fact is so far the movie isn't divisive at all. They got the most important thing to do in a superhero movie done and that's make the characters intriguing.
